On Hasbro Toyfair Eve’s eve, IGN was privvy to the first hi-res renders of upcoming 2020 War For Cybertron: Earthrise product. They were gracious enough not to horde all the glory and shared a few morsels with us. Morsels in the shape of a big purple and green demon named Scorponok!!!!!!

Earthrise Titan Scorponok
Love at first sting!

Designated WFC-E25, this Titan class re-imagining of one of Generation 1’s most beloved toys has all the right updates in all the right places. No longer will he suffer from shrunken head syndrome, as he has a super Titanmaster Lord Zarak, similar to his Autobot nemesis, Fortress Maximus. His puncher fingers are also individually articulated! SPLASH!

Transformers War For Cybertron: Earthrise Lord Zarak Fasttrack Renders
The gang’s all here! Fasttrack sold separately.

While he may be missing 2 of his double turrets, that’s fine with this Collecticon. He releases in August and is currently available for pre-order at Collecticon Toys.

You know where to find this fantastic creature…

I guess we should talk about the second-ever Commander Class Transformer, WFC-S24 Earthrise Sky Lynx as well. Sky Lynx is an excellent choice for the new big-boy-toy size class, since he has always been one of those pretty big but ‘not-that-big’ characters. His unique design scheme has always caused him a bit of difficult to get released. The Combiner Wars voyager was fine, but too small for most people that had been fiending for a legitimate upgrade of their favorite Autobot Narcissist.

Now kissth!

Sky Lynx appears to retain all of the features that made him special, except for his battery-powered motor gimmick that allowed him to walk. No big deal, Trypticon ditched that feature as well. The one big addition, other than expanded articulation for the beast modes, is a brand new base mode that fits right in with the Earthrise play pattern. Don’t forget Sky Lynx has brandishes an official NASA logo on his shuttle mode! Cool!

We have lift-off!

Deluxe Arcee was also revealed, but we’ll save deluxes for a future date… as in like 36 hours from now! Toyfair is right around the corner and this Collecticon is leaving on a jet plane to see this stuff in person. if you weren’t lucky enough to get the golden ticket, fear not! For the first year ever, Hasbro will be live-streaming their new product presentation on Saturday, February 22nd at 1:30 PM EST on the Hasbro Pulse Facebook page. Don’t miss it, nerds!
